Welcome to my personal homepage! I am a PhD student, researcher, and graduate teaching assistant at the University of North Texas Department of Political Science. I graduated summa cum laude with a BA in philosophy with a focus on meta-ethics, normative ethics, and social and political philosophy and an MA in political science with a focus on political theory and comparative politics.
My primary areas of interest in political science are political theory (specifically democratic theory, philosophy of power, hierarchy, and oppression, and narrative and political epistemology), comparative politics, and international relations. More specifically, I am interested in questions about power, its distribution, and the evolution of our collective understanding of how it ought to be distributed, human rights, hierarchy, oppression, and freedom.
